What if God were to answer all of your prayers with a yes? Would it bring you spiritual maturity? The answer of course is no. If God would answer all of your prayers and my prayers with a yes, we would trust more in the answers than God.

As strange as it may seem, we need unanswered prayer. He said “no” to Paul, He said “no” to Jesus…why should we be exempt from a no answer.

“No” is not an opportunity taken, “no” is an opportunity given to show His glory

What is the sin that so easily controls you? I guarantee you’re aware of it. You know what it is. You could write it on a piece of paper and send it to altar for prayer.

How do you feel about it? Does it drive you crazy?  The better question is…are you doing anything about it? Because if your not doing anything about it….Your just simply Aware of it.

Therefore, there’s something you must know…Awareness without action is useless.

God  operates independent of our plans but His plans are perfect.

There are times I’ve found myself approaching God saying things like,  “Lord I’ve done so much for you. I’ve done this. I’ve done that. I’ve earned enough leverage. I just need you to show up and do it the way I have it worked out in my mind and my heart.” You see, we all want a God that acts and does the way we want. That’s the base human problem. However, God operates independent of our plans but His plans are perfect.
